Shealey began her journey in the beauty industry in October of 1991. She attended Horst Academy (Aveda). She graduated in February of 1992 from Esthetics. 

She then decided to focus on starting a family. She returned to the industry in 1998 working at Xenon International. She spent 15 years at the school; where she ended up as the director of Esthetics. She truly loved working with and mentoring the students. She still misses it daily. 

Due to an unforeseen illness in the family in 2012; she had to step away from the industry and work to care for her terminally ill daughter. 

After some time and healing; she returned to her passion; teaching at Xenon and working as an esthetician at Gloss Salon and Day Spa. During this time she decided to make the decision; to give 100% to the service side of the industry and go out on her own. 

In 2016; she began her adventure with the newly opened Lavish Salon & Day Spa. She spent nine years across two locations; and had the intention to retire in June of 2025 from the beauty industry. She was ready to try something new; but the pull of the industry and what she loves doing was too strong. 

That brings us to today; where as of October 2025; Shealey is now an esthetician working at Blu Lotus Spa and Salon! She loves spoiling her clients; taking their needs into consideration; and always going above and beyond to bring a smile to their faces! 

Above all her greatest joy is being able to make someone’s day better; to let them know that they matter; and that each and every person deserves to be loved on!
